“Give the pupils something to do, not something to learn; and the doing is of such a nature as to demand thinking; learning naturally results.”
― John Dewey
Pathways and projects can be licensed or purchased individually as a hybrid model with standard curriculum or as a full set of five. We help schools integrate projects into their unique settings. Three hours of project time on the same day provides flexible learning for Home Educated students (to attend school one or two days a week).
Learning roadmaps for each project which clearly display the subject matter covered from the standard curriculum. We also provide roadmaps of learning through each traditional subject.
Comprehensive slideshow templates that can be arranged by individual teachers to suit their unique teaching style. These are scaffolded over the years to build knowledge and skills by incorporating the learning objectives from the range of subjects in the UK National Curriculum in carefully planned sequences.
Material lists, posters and printouts needed for learning. Ideas for school trips to support project learning. CPD and online support for teachers.
Digital student portfolio templates which correspond to the teaching slide shows. Learners are able to redesign these and add more slides to evidence their work in a variety of different mediums.
Knowledge quizzes, daily reflection forms, report templates and rubrics provide learners and teachers with all they need to evaluate work and prepare for a DVQ (Da Vinci Qualification).
We offer BE Mentor development training and certificates to enable teachers to deliver our DVLS Curriculum. Schools/Teachers can pay for extra online support on an hourly basis for a fixed fee.
